In Ashland, Virginia, staff at a liquor store arrived to find smashed whisky bottles and a raccoon passed out in the bathroom after falling through the ceiling and drinking freely from the stock. Animal control officer Samantha Martin confirmed the “suspect” was extremely intoxicated. After sobering up, the raccoon was released back into the wild, hungover, unharmed, and hopefully wiser.
